Event remarks | CAMPED HERE 05-061096. Bush Camp 8km W of H'way & 33 km S of Carnarvon. Also a brief visit to similar bush camp at Bush Bay. Plenty of freeloaders with untidy camps at both sites. Sunny. HOT. Windy. FOLLOWED MIKE ENTWISTLE REPORT (1986) - "600+ : A BIRDERS GUIDE TO AUSTRALIA" & Bransbury "Where to Find Birds" all through West Australia. DAY 29 OF WEST AUST TRIP. Apologies for the 1 counts instead of x. In the 1990's I was Atlassing for NSW Bird Atlassers for which only the species was needed, not numbers of each species. These lists are being compiled in 2020 on spreadsheets (which I then Import) by a wonderful friend, a new eBirder, and I had not made her aware of using x when no numbers are shown. Hence a count of 1 is shown for the hundreds of lists to follow! Too much for me to amend. |
